Now even Microsoft has come to the realization that Silverlight sucks, and are shifting their efforts to HTML 5. Will the Fuse development team be making the transition to HTML 5, if not what are your plans?

This may or may not be a touchy topic of discussion within Fender because of the recent incorporation of Silverlight into Fuse but obviously Silverlight is dead and I think all of your customers need to know what the plans are for Fuse.

Thank you

Hi Meeee,

Thanks for bringing that to our attention. This news is more related to Silverlight web functionality than apps built using Silverlight. However, we'll make sure to keep you guys updated on any important Fender FUSE news.

Loren

You think this would impact fender only??? Think again. HP, IBM and tons of other companies have spent money on Silverlight dev tools.

Migration from one dev platform to another is usually pretty easy these days. Modern dev environments are, for the most part, pretty point and click.

The thought never crossed my mind.

Obviously it effects everyone who voluntarily jumped on the Silverlight bandwagon but this is the Fuse forum. My only concerned here is what the developers at Fender plan to do about it to minimized the effect on customers and improve Fuse so we can more easily manipulate, store and catalog all these cool presets and band tracks we are collecting.

Oh, I get it now! You think silverlight is to blame for something (not sure what that is). Ok, good luck with that.

BTW, silverlight is not dead.

Yeah, I guess your "silverlight sucks" statement threw me off.
