Hello,
Just wanted to point out a trick with the downloadable band tracks.
I just purchased the Fender Mustang amp (1) and started downloading some band tracks and would play them on Fuse to jam with (sound coming out of the computer), I've noticed tat I cannot control the volume very well out of the computer (I have to max it) and it's not loud enough :x . So I deleted all the band tracks from Fuse and downloaded directly from the Fuse site (after logging in of course) and saved all band tracks to a folder on my desktop, I would like to group them further into genres. Open up Ableton 8 (comes with Mustang) and drag each clip into Audio 1 track and continue dragging and dropping whatever clips you want in Audio 1 (stacking going down). After this is complete you will notice that each track will already be looped and if you double click on the track it will tell you on the bottom what the original BPM was, which you can adjust at the top left of Ableton. You can adjust the tempo to all songs and even detune the tracks if you use a different tuning (which I do 432Hz -32 cents). There is much more you can do as well with this set up in ableton.
By the way doing this also improved the sound considerably.

Hope this helps. :D

Hey,

Hope you had a great Christmas. In order to record a session, you have to arm all tracks you want recorded (command click on each track for mac and I think control click for windows), then arm the record feature in Ableton (top circle, turns red) and then press play. I use an interface to line in my guitar, not sure what your using. You can also just play along with the tracks. Hope this helps.
I am also currently running Ableton live 8 Suite, but recording and arming shouldn't make a difference. Check out the lessons in Ableton under the help option (top of screen, left).

Peace
