hi everyone. i'm on a mac running 10.6.4

i just got my mustang I yesterday, LOVE IT!. I installed fuse and amplitube, but fuse won't work right for me. the biggest problem i have is that it says my amp is NOT connected (i tried to do a forum search on this but didn't find any narrowed down topic). the amp most certainly IS connected, and it works just fine getting the audio into the amplitube, so it's not the cable. it's fuse somehow. i tried to uninstall it but maybe i didn't do it right, lots of restarts, still nothing.

anybody else have these issues?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what version of FUSE are you running? If not 2.0.1, you need to download it and install it and try again. Otherwise, Loren will have a better answer for you, but it may require you two to talk via phone to solve the issue. :)

I, too, am a new owner of the Mustang III and have downloaded Fuse 2.4.1.27. It shows there is no amplifier connected. Do I need to do the same as above? Download the earlier version? Can anyone explain why this is so seemingly difficult? I have a MacBook Pro OSX 10.6.8.

Hey Kris,

When FUSE can't see the amp on Mac OS X it's usually due to one of two things.

1. Microsoft Silverlight acting up.

Try installing Silverlight 5 from:
http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight ... fault.aspx

2. Amp drivers not being installed properly/FUSE not accessing drivers properly.

Go to /System/Library/Extensions. Look for Fender drivers. They're listed alphabetically. Trash all Fender drivers, empty the trash, and re-run the FUSE installer. Be sure to restart your computer when prompted.

Hi Loren,

I have the same problem on a Windows 7 64-bit system. Everything installed correct (incl. Silverlight), I tried many times, uninstalled it, installed it again. But Fuse is always telling me, that the amp is not connected.
To check the amp I installed Fuse on another system of a friend with Windoews Vista and it works. Is the newest Fuse version not compatible with Windows 7 64-bit? Do you have a solution for me? Thank you very much.

Joerg

Hey Joerg,

FUSE is definitely compatible with Win 7 64 bit. Try right-clicking the FUSE icon and select Run As Administrator.

Hi Loren, hi Joerg,

did you have managed out, how to install the FUSE Device Drivers on Windows? If so, I would be glad to know from you how, under this topic viewtopic.php?f=27&t=68317
