According to the manual, I should be able to play band tracks by double clicking on them in the Media Library list. This doesn't work for me. I can only play tracks with the START button. (MacOS 10.5.8)

Hi dobrojoe,

Welcome to the Fender forums. Are you referring to this passage in the Fender FUSE manual?
Quote:
When you have Amplifier or SD Card selected as
the Media location {B}, you can double-click on any band track in
the list {F} to instantly load the track with the current preset and
have it ready to play on the amplifier.

What that means is that double clicking won't play the Band Track, but it does assign that Band Track it to the currently loaded Preset. You can, however, right-click on it and click preview to play it. I hope that helps.

This is the passage I'm referring to...

Mustang™ only: When you have Computer selected as the
Media location {B}, you can double-click on a band track in the
list {F} to activate it to play with the current preset through your
computer speakers.

I read that as double clicking to play. This may be badly worded when when I look round the screen to see a mechanism to play files in the list, there isn't one. As an iTunes user, I expect 'preview' to mean a short snippet and a double click to play a track. That is fairly standard behaviour on a Mac.

I see how that wording could be confusing. In this case the word preview pertains to playing a Band Track without having to assign it to a Preset first. Since the Band Tracks are stored on the amp and aren't stored on your computer's hard drive the way the songs in your iTunes library are, double click to play is a little more difficult to implement.

Wish List: a button to return from the Band Tracks or Preset page to previous page... :D . On my Macbook Pro I sometimes have to "start over" after downloading a band track. No biggie...
