Hi, I installed Fuse latest version. Fuse opens, I log in, goes to community and search for band tracks...but when I try to listen to the track I chose, nothing happens. Got the latest versions of Flash reader installed for both Internet Explorer 8 and latest Firefox version.
What could be the problem.
Thanks.

Hi Run Duke,

When you say nothing happens do you mean that when you press play the progress bar or countdown numbers don't move at all? Are you using the G-DEC 3 as the audio output device? If so, make sure there's no audio playing on the amp. Also, disconnect your amp and see if the previews will play then.

Hi Run Duke, I know ya from the mygdec forums. I had the same problem with one mp3. It turned out to be the encoding of the file. It was not something that fuse liked. I used goldwave to convert it to the same value of other mp3's that it did work with and that was mpeg audio layer 3, 44.1khz, 128kbps and joint stereo. This could be the issue with your band track(s).

Hi Loren, yes the progress bar or countdown numbers don't move at all and my audio device is my computer motherboard integrated audiocard that is working properly. My G-Dec3 is connected but turn off when the problem occurs.
This happens on my computer using Win XP connected to the amp. I got the latest Fuse version installed on my other (not connected to amp) computer using Windows 7 64 and it works fine.

...forgot to mention that reading these band tracks seems to be using Flash Reader and that Flash is working well on any internet site.

Do you have a problem playing audio from any other websites using Internet Explorer? I don't suspect that it's a Flash thing.

No problem playing audio from any other websites using Internet Explorer and if it's not flash related what could it be?
Thanks for helping.

It could very well be a flash issue. However, the flash issues I've seen are the kind that won't allow the transport controls or download button to be displayed at all.

The behavior you're describing is exactly what happens when there is a G-DEC 3 connected, playing a Band Track, while you're also on the Fender FUSE Community trying to preview a Band Track through the amp.

You mentioned trying it in Firefox as well. If it has the same behavior in FF I say it most likely is a Flash thing. I'll have to get back to you.

Hi, I finally solved this issue by reinstalling Adobe Shockwave Player.
