Good news everybody!

I figured out all the problems with this amps software, all the bugs, ticks, crashes, downloads, uploads, pantloads, just all the issues, US, you , me-The Consumer had to pay $400 for so Fender could get free product research-

Really! I figured out every problem this amp has.

Wanna know how I fixed it?

I sold it.

Me too. I've got no complaints. I've been able to dial in more presets and share them in a few months than I was able to do with my Vox AD60VTX in a few years!

I'm trading mine in this weekend. G-DEC is a great idea in theory, but sorely lacks in real world applications.

yeah, I shipped it out and two hours later bought an original G-Dec on craigslist for 100 bucks. I just like the simplicity of playing with a drum beat and bass and being able to change the key and tempo-simple,no software.

I'm sure the G-Dec 3 will make many people happy, more so in a year after they have worked out all the bugs, but then Fender will be on to the next bright idea in digital entertainment for office executives on their lunchbreak.

Hey Fender, at least I didn't sell your new shiny amp and go out and buy a used Line 6 Spider Jam....so you got that going for you,

I did see today on Ebay someone else has listed their new Fender G-Dec 3 for $266...

OK Folks,

I have had this amp for about 3 months now. I have the old version of the software running on a Netbook and this works. The new version will not work with my windows 7 but Loren is working his butt off to find out why. I have been playing for 40 years now and have no real issue with this amp. In fact, the background music I am playing through is sounds great. I like the idea of simply turning on one amp and TADA I have a backup band.

You do need to buy the foot switch to make this amp usable or convince your wife to turn the knobs while your playing.

Once the SW gets a bit more mature, we should have a 100% winner. Note that it takes an 8G SD card and that is forward thinking.
