Fender Fuse Software for PC installer corrupt??????

I have been trying way too long now to download the Fuse software and all I ever get is a corrupted file. The file has 0 length, the download starts and finishes in seconds with no errors or anything, I just wind up with a useless file.

This is the link I am using:
http://support.fender.com/software/fend ... .1.501.exe

Any suggestions?

I am fairly certain I am not doing anything wrong, the MAC version seems to download fine but I have a PC so I need the PC version. To me it appears the PC installer is corrupt.

Please help I would love to be able to use all of the features of my amp but without FUSE I am stuck!

Thanks

Good evening, Bob!

I apologize for your struggles on downloading the latest release of the Fender FUSE software for Windows (PC). :( Unfortunately, we've been experiencing some weirdness with CDN (content delivery network) this evening and it appears a half-uploaded file got distributed about across the cloud which is what caused an incomplete file to be available to everyone.

The upside is that we've isolated the issue and fixed the problem :D The downside is that you just had to read the most uneventful and boring explanation as to why you've been frustrated during your online downloading adventures

So without further delay ... I bring you ... Thor's Hammer!!!

No just kidding ... I bring you the REAL working link to the latest version of Fender FUSE 2.0.1!!!

Hi, I downloaded the PC version, about 4:40 AM East Coast time,
the file size is 297,735,260 It installed in
Vista Home 32 bit without issues. Its a generic HP laptop, a year old.
This Vista had no previous .net framework or Silverlight. The amp was
not connected until prompted, and one reboot was required after .net framework was installed,
(so I restarted the installer, since I copied the installer to the hard-disk after that reboot. Should have copied it before I started. But kids with toys are in a hurry like that  )

All my homebrew presets worked, all the menus and gui elements worked.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

I downloaded with the Opera browser on a different computer, then burned a CD. Can you download with a different browser than the one used the last time?
Cheers

I have tried using Firefox and IE from both my home network and the network at the local college where I work. Even cleared history and cache on both browsers.

Pretty certain the issue is as Steven stated earlier, a problem with their content delivery network.

Well, looks like my problem may be solved.

File is downloading now. Looks like the 100th time was the charm ;)

Just kidding, glad to finally see something larger than 0...

Thanks

Just finished downloading and the final size is (drum roll please)

297,735,260

Looks like the size is the same as sixline reported so I think I am good to go.

Thanks again for the help, I am off to install and start messing around with Fuse.
