I used a whole day getting it sorted, downloading , reading up on the forum, going in circles, "please wait" , etc. , but to my great pleasure, finally got FUSE up and running, and promised myself to relate my positive experience on the forum for other Mac users...

First, know that I'm running OSX 10.5.8 on my MacBookPro...
So I cannot confirm results on snowleopard.

Some issues I experienced on the way...

1.Installation failed... Mono Frame loaded, but FUSE install failed...
-Reset permissions! Primarily 'control click' your applications folder, 'get info', and set permissions to 'read & write' for all three instances. Don't assume that everything is set to read & write like I did several times...

2."Please wait"... Once you download and install FUSE 2.0 , download and install the latest microsoft Silverlight 4.0 ( google silverlight+mac)...
install silverlight, then logout, restart, and launch FUSE. It's important that you install Silverlight AFTER the successful installation of the FUSE software...I thought I was smart installing the latest silverlight 1st, and went in circles for a couple of hours...

The FUSE software is working consistently now, launching every time,
so the rest is just fog that hangs over universal platform installation...

Stick with it, do things in the right order, use the forum, and help others get there...

it's well worth the hassle when you got it going, turning the controls on the amp, and watching it adjust settings on the screen.

also the addition of 'middle' and 'prescence' controls...brilliant!

good luck, mates!

Hi, the windows FUSE 2 download includes silverlight, so if that is the same
in the Mac install, and you downloaded a 'newer than fuse 2' Mac silverlight,
it would have been overwritten by the installers older version. then corrected
by your install of the newest version. The unix style permissions on a Mac
have their place, but to me, a recording studio is not one of them!
The Mac users will love your update! (The fuse gui always puts me in a good mood) :)
Cheers

I'm glad you were able to get it running. Let us know if you experience anymore issues.

I downloaded the Fuse program before I had my MII.
I had to do a firmware update through my Mac.
It took a few times, but its pretty easy to do.
Fender Fuse is way easier to understand and use.
The old Vox Tonelab SE editor was the worst.
