I have just started running FUSE 2.0 on a netbook, problem is the FUSE screen does not fit even after resizing and using full screen option from main menu - view.

Is there a solution or can window slide bars be added to the next update ?

Hello Tooth,

The Fender FUSE interface requires a screen with minimum 1000x600 resolution. Most netbooks I've seen don't meet those minimum requirements. I'm afraid there really isn't a way to get around that.

Thanks Loren,

My screen res is 1024x600 but the bottom bit of the FUSE screen doesnt fit. I cannot see the sync bar, cannot turn stomp boxes on/off or see the bottom rack effect because of the screen not being visable or resizable.

The FUSE 2 upgrade did allow maximise/resizing where the previous v1.1.3 didnt.

Is it not posible to include scroll bars in the next upgrade?

Thanks and regards

Tooth

Hey Tooth,

I understand. I'll speak with our developers and find out if we can make that happen.

The advanced amp, and preset info buttons could go up on the row with the tuner, then the amp logo section could be raised, made a bit smaller as needed, and then instead of all the pretty grille cloth, the rack area could be displayed right beneath the amp dials. A compromise on the nice symetry of the current gui, but it might fit, and netbooks are selling well. I would hope someone is working on phone and tablet PC versions of FUSE already(!)
Cheers :)

Any more news on getting Fuse to run on Netbooks. I mean the netbook is the ideal size for just this kind of application. I would be great to get this fixed.

We're working on an update now and the scroll bars are one of the things we'd like to include. I'll have more info later.

Hi Loren,
FUSE is a Silverlight/WPF application, right? I'm not familiar with Silverlight too much, but generally there is a possibility to add zoom function to WPF forms, for instance check here. Maybe zooming out should be a way for 1024x600 netbook's resolution without rearranging of form's appearance ...

PS: Although I'm quite new here I would like to say that it is not obvious to getting a real efficient support from manufacturers just like you give to us here, so BIG thanks to you and your colleagues! ;-)

I'm in the process of moving, and haven't set up desktop PC, but I had my Aspire One netbook, and wanted to load FUSE on it.

After I installed FUSE, I noticed that the screen resolution wasn't large enough to view the entire FUSE GUI.....so, after thinking about this, and finding out that my netbook supports a larger monitor and resolution, I connected a spare 19" LCD to it, and after adjusting it's resolution to 1024x786 pixels, I am able now to see the entire FUSE GUI.
