I noticed a new Resolver stompbox model when using the FUSE software with my G-DEC 3 30 Amp. What exactly does this stompbox model do, and how is it normally used? Any suggestions?

This came up back in April:

Resolver - "A low-fidelity effect purposely reducing the quality of the input signal. Effective for “low-fi” filtering of song introductions for example."

This comes from a Cyber-Twin manual which was excerpted from the excellent "G-Dec Deep" manual by Workerbee (Robert Sharp) on the My Gdec forum.

I have played around with it to emulate the first few seconds of Smells Like Teen Spirit before it really kicks in and that scratchy old record sound at the start of "Just Came Back (to say goodbye).
