Did you actually talk to them and did they actually give you any?

Of course! Even sent data to this Loren Howard guy, who insisted that this was some kind of Microsoft/Silverlight problem and told us that Fender was working on it!

Followed every one of their instructions. Exchanged numerous private e-mails. STILL doesn't work!

P.S. Aren't you the same guy that called me a "troll?"

So you also downloaded the troubleshoot bat file ! No luck with that then?
I can't see it being aprob with silverlight talking to fuse because why would it work for some and not others? Like I said when I installed it on win7 it was perfect, after running the troubleshoot bat and then reinstalling fuse on the xp partition it was perfect!
Has to be something installed under the hood, something maybe that sits between silverlight and fuse!
:?

Weaselboy19....
Detailed the contents of the troubleshooting.bat file on here.....but the post's been deleted - by whom?!
Show your email address and I'll send to you....(or just contact Fender, which possibly explains the post's deletion!)

Guys, I've got FUSE working. If you're using Internet Explorer 9, make sure that Silverlight isn't disabled. I kept reinstalling it and yet it was always disabled.

In IE9, click 'Tools' or the cog wheel icon -> Manage add-ons -> Scroll down to Microsoft Corporation and if Silverlight's disabled, enable it.

Hope this helps guys :)

Well, I purchased a new computer with Windoze 7 and Fuse works now. I guess that it was not designed to work on XP.

Hey Guys,

I'm sorry you've experienced this issue with Fender FUSE

thanasis2561 - I"m glad you're able to run Fender FUSE now. Fender FUSE 1.1.3 will not recognize any amp except G-DEC 3. Mustang compatibility did not come until 2.0.

HungryWulf - Try creating another admin user account. This has worked for almost all of users that have experience this problem. If you'd like, you can contact us directly for assistance as well. This board isn't the best place to get help for everything.

WavMixer - Fender FUSE is definitely compatible with XP SP3. I'm sure we could have gotten the program running on your XP machine. Anyhow, I"m glad it runs on your new machine.

We're available by phone and email as well, guys. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance.

How sad that the Fender staff still can't figure this mess out?!!! Personally, I've been waiting for over a year to get an honest, straightfoward resolution.

Last I heard (September, 2010! ... Yes, 2010!) was that the Fender staff was in ongoing communications with Microsoft regarding Silverlight...at that time, they (Fender) insisted that Silverlight was the problem and a "fix" would be available soon. Still waiting...

In the meantime, user after user struggles with a product that cannot deliver what it advertised to do. Again...how sad.
