Hey Guys,

Jack - I'm sorry you're experiencing this problem. Your best bet is to contact us directly. We've gotten most of the users who've had this problem up and running. Also, I would advise against running any registry cleaners. We've seen them do a lot more harm than good.

To Jack and everyone else experiencing the "Loading...Please Wait" problem...

I've been dealing with this since October, 2009. The Fender moderator, Loren Howard, has continually denied that there's a problem with the Fuse software...he has promised over and over and over and over again (see previous posts!) that a software "glitch" (his word, not mine) would be fixed "soon."

If you press him for an answer, he'll likely blame Microsoft and Silverlight for his company's inadequate efforts to address this problem...quite a demonstration of transparency to deny responsibility for the torment many of us go through with this issue. We paid good money for this product and expected to get what Fender advertised...yet the company consistently fails to take actions to correct the problem.

There have been numerous requests for someone other than Loren Howard to address this situation, including an open letter to the CEO of Fender. It's ALL been ignored!!!

Sour grapes. Most don't have this problem. Loren is one person, he does what he can. He successfully helps many.

Since I've never seen anything but negative posts by Jaydv, I assume he's a troll!

Loren Howard is over his head with this issue. After all this time, the problem needs to be looked at by someone else.

Not a troll, bclarke...just the voice of a consumer who, like many others in this forum, has been given less than honest information about this problem...especially with regards to a timetable for a fix. Fender, through Loren Howard, has admitted there's a programming problem...his words, not mine...see previous posts.

Name calling, bclarke, is a really childish reaction to our posts. Obviously, YOU have not experienced the frustration of many of us with this issue. Good for you! But you need to understand that, even though YOUR FUSE program runs well, ours does not.

Just a thought...if YOUR FUSE program is up and running, why in the heck would you even subscribe to this thread in the first place???

I'm not subscribed, however unlike you, I read all threads that pertain to equipment I own to learn or help others. You, on the other hand, have nothing but negative comments to offer! A troll is not name calling. It's describing the type of communication you appear to be engaging in. Nothing less. You asked me (nastily) to stop commenting in this thread a few months ago, which I did until yesterday. I felt I needed to step in and stop your madness (again). If you are not a troll, please refrain from chiming in with your negative rants at Loren Howard and Fender. Instead, contact them directly via PM and get the situation settled once and for all.

Finally, you don't own this thread. It's a public forum, and anyone registered here has the right to comment as long as they follow the rules of the forum, hence my presence. If you don't like it, ignore my posts. That's your only control over the situation!

Good day! :P

Well I emailed fender describing my setup and symptoms, they sent me a download link to a bat file to troubleshoot fuse. Also offered to call me in uk to save my phone bill which was brill, anyhow in the meantime I installed win 7 on a spare partition (I have a 500gig hd), installed fuse and let it install silverlight and wallh, it worked great.
So now I'm thinking " at least I can use the damn software even if I do have to boot into win7" Then next morning I get the email with the download link for the bat, I download it place it in fuse folder and run it; Guess what! fuse fires up, so I shut down and try it again straight from the fuse link and for some reason it now works.
If it's a result of installing win7 on spare partition (don't see how that affects anything on xp though) or something in the trouble shooter bat file I don't know but I now have a running installation.
Thanks Loren and team, splendid job chaps.
:D

Stickmaster...WOW, you had to do ALL OF THAT to get FUSE to work! Congratulations! Too bad the Fender company couldn't make it more "user friendly!" I've been waiting since October, 2010 for them to help with this issue!!!
