Hi, Loren, I've read just enough here to see storm clouds concerning an earlier version of FUSE being removed, and some pretty heavy requirements being added to a new version. If word of this spreads to certain other forums, they'll start relentless bashing and sniping, I've seen it happen to many fine products. I heartily recommend retaining access to legacy versions of all your apps, since there is no way you can offer support for all the OS flaws, hardware flaws, software flaws, and user-errors you'll see posted. 'Old things that work', are what make Fender guitars stand out in history. Right? Your software developement should be no different. Please keep old working versions available to support your users!
Dial-up users around the world will have trouble with 300 megs, splitting downloads is crucial for some of them to utilize your products, and reduces your server bandwidth consumption.

I'll be getting a Mustang 1 soon, I demoed the Fender Amplitube LE last year, it's great, and will help qualify people for significant IK Multimedia discounts in the future, making the amp nearly 'free', for customers who take advantage of their offers. Hopefully their upgrade offers will be seen on this website to.
Have a great weekend!

I'd just like to endorse sixline's view.

It surely can't be beyond the whit of Fender to make a great job this!

Good that Fender helps users when they have problems but the problems seem to be taking hold just now and it's going to take some time for full confidence to be restored.

I have faith that Fender will come through and put all this behind them by putting more into initial development research.

Cheers!

Hey Guys,

We are still working on resolving the issues that have appeared during the last week or so. I wanted to let you know why we decided not to make the previous versions available.
One of the reasons was because of the problems we ran into with Fender FUSE for Mac 1.0 and new Silverlight and Mac OS updates. Fender FUSE 2.0 for Mac fixed those issues but now some people are having issues with the PC version. Also, if you buy a new Mustang I or Mustang II amp, any version prior to 2.0 will not work with it.

Since there are some users who would like to use 1.1.3 until the issues with 2.0 are ironed out, we have decided to make Fender FUSE 1.1.3 available on a per user basis. Anyone who would like access to 1.1.3 can let us know at TSL@fender.com and we'll be sure to get it to you.

Excellent! Supporting all the hardware/software combos out there is like
planting an orchard in quicksand, you're either real light and fast,
or you're going under
Cheers
