EDIT - SOLVED - XP set default res to 800x600 - I reset to 1024x768 and all is fine

EDIT - install of driver and fuse on existing XP installation on same laptop ( BENQ Celeron cpu) didnt work - hung on splash screen while loading
-------------------------------
EDIT - previously omitted info re asio driver

Just did a complete reinstall of XP Pro, SP1,SP2,SP3 - turned off XP Firewall, installed IE8, MS-Net, Silverlight and Fender ASIO driver, Fuse 2.0. (in that order)

It works ( on the Celeron Laptop - I dont yet have a G-Dec 3 or Mustang Amp).

Question -

Fuse screen size is too big for the laptops widescreen, both in width and height - how do I fix this ( if it can be fixed).

Thanks

Hey Jbloggs,

Let me make sure I understand you correctly. You performed a fresh install of XP SP3 and Fender FUSE 2.0. FUSE launched but the interface was too big for your screen. You then changed the resolution to 1024x768 and all is well now, correct? Are you having a problem with the Fender ASIO driver?

Hi Loren

I have no problems. It was just that initially on install Fuse defaulted to an 800x600 screen resolution. I just reset the res to 1024 x 768, which is the correct widescreen res for my Benq laptop.

The reason that I posted was that many people seem to be having problems with XP hanging at the Fuse Splash Screen

I also had this problem with an existing XP installation on this laptop, so I did a second clean XP install to a different partition on the same hard drive on the same laptop and Fuse ran fine- no other software installed. Must be some program on the original XP install that conflicted with Fuse.

Hope that this clarifies my original post.

Thanks for your interest.
