Hey Run Duke,

We're glad you like the new version of Fender FUSE. A few customers seem to be having issues with it at the moment. Can I trouble you for your system specs? We'd like to know what kinds of systems it is being run successfully on.

Thanks,
Loren

New Mustang 1 owner, simply love it. Was the first person to buy one from StevesMusic in Toronto, Ontario.

System specs:

Acer 1810T laptop
Intel CPU U7300 @ 1.3 ghz
4 gb ram
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile 6/27/2010 Ver. 4.0.30319

Downloaded and installed Fuse 2.0, hooked up amp, Fuse said there was a firmware update, did as instructed, everything worked fine.

Glen

Hi Loren, I installed Fuse last version on two computers and it's working well on both.
One computer(my old one) is connected to the amp and uses Windows XP SP3, 1Go Ram with a Nvidia 6600 GT graphic card, IE 8.0, MS Net framework 3.5

The second one:Dell Studio XPS 8000 Windows 7 Family Premium 64 bits
Intel®Quad Core™ i7-860 (8 Mo Cache, 2,80 GHz)
SDRAM DDR3 1066MHz de 8Go, 4 DIMMs Upgradable to 16Go
nVidia GeForce GTX260 1792 Mo GDDR3
SATA de 1To, 3.0Go/s à 7200 t/min with 16Mo Cache
...if you need more info

Hi, just got the Mustang 1, easy to spot in the store with the
bright packaging. Even got a free $20 lifetime cable as part of
the deal. I'll have to crack knuckles, comb hair, and perform a
native kabucki dance for luck, before opening the box. Is there no
smiley for 'the chills"? :)

(stores I checked that didn't have them yet, said they were getting
tons of calls.)
Cheers

Hey Guys,

I'm glad you're happy with Fender FUSE 2.0.

Sixline: Have you had a chance to install Fender FUSE yet? Please let me know if you experience any issues.

Hi, I installed 2.0 before I got the amp, then I opened the box a few hours back, installed the driver,, rebooted, plugged in the amp, ran the fuse app from XP, , then made a Fuse account, logged in, and followed the firmware update , easy and successful, registered the bundle software, restarted, and went through lots of nice sound settings in the Fuse gui, and saved a preset. Out of close to an hour online with
Fuse, there was maybe 20 seconds or so of mild crackling, after loading a different amp, but going back and forth to the previous one cleared it up.
Overall it seems very stable and useful, and the sound itself is excellent. Those thinking an 8" speaker won't be loud will be nicely surprised.

Athlon 3800
nvidia 6100 motherboard video
2 gig ram
m-audio 24/96 pci
XP Home sp3
usb modem

For all the complexities involved, the install was very well polished!

Thanks to all the folks who made it happen!
