Just installed ver2 and found that presets on the sd card won't load. Band tracks will. When I double click on a preset on the sd card, nothing happens, so it limits me to my 100 amp presets only unless comp is hooked up. :(

Hey JoeR,

You can import SD presets directly to the amp by using the Import function in the amp's utility menu. If you have presets stored on the card that is the best way to get them to the amp without using Fender FUSE.

Is there a way to preview a preset off the sd card before importing?

Please verify that your Presets are in the Preset folder on the SD card. There is an Import page before the Export One page in the UTIL menu. Simply turn the knob once you're there to scroll through presets to import.

Thanks Loren

Got it! Part of my struggle was that I had previously exported all presets to sd card as a backup of my tweaks, so it took a while to scroll thru to find the one I wanted. I was able to preview the preset also to evaluate before commiting. Also, when the "importing..." was showing I was afraid it was overriding my amp presets so I aborted the action. Thanks for your patience.

Question: what is the GD_ prefix? Another reason I couldn't find it was even though the preset is called "Bright", it has the GD_prefix so it's filed under G not B.

BTW I now can enter USB mode. Couldn't do it in the previous ver.

Thanks again

Joe

Hey JoeR,

I'm glad you were able to get it working. The GD_ prefix denotes that the Preset is a G-DEC 3 preset. Now that the Mustang amps have been released, there are Mustang Presets on the Community as well. They are denoted by MU_. You can remove the prefix when the save dialog box pops up if you wish.
