Hey dieterx,

Welcome to the forums. I apologize for the issue you are experiencing. Would you mind restarting the computer and installing Fender FUSE 2.0 once more? Please pay special attention to any windows that may pop up or appear behind other windows.

Thanks,
Loren

Also, please make sure that you have administrative privileges on the computer you're using. If not, fuse may not install properly.

Hi,
I made a restart and installed the full verision a second time (Win 7 64 bit) from my admin account, I still get the same error:

Output folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Fender\Fender FUSE
Extract: FUSEUI.xap... 100%
Execute: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Silverlight\sllauncher.exe" /install:"C:\Program Files (x86)\Fender\Fender FUSE\FUSEUI.xap" /origin:"https://fuse.fender.com/FUSEUI.xap"

Really annoying, because the old version is deinstalled!!
You have to fix this urgently Loren.

Hi Loren,
just noticed a strange folder structure: the "Fender" folder contains a "Fender FUSE" folder which contains two subfolders: "Data" and "Fender FUSE". Both "Fender FUSE" folders each contain a FUSEUI.xap file.

Hey Guys,

It looks like we have nailed down the problem. There was an issue with the installer that caused problems with language localized versions of Windows. This would explain why some users were able to install and others couldn't. We apologize for the inconvenience guys. You can download the fix here:

http://www.fender.com/support/article.php?kb_id=48

I recommend removing the previous install of Silverlight and Fender FUSE 2.0 via add/remove programs prior to installing the new fix. Thanks again for your patience.

Hi Loren,
the installation worked out right, I did it from my admin account.
From my regelurar user account it is impossible to launch the application by doubleclicking on the fuselauncher.exe - there is no action. I have to make a right mouse click and start the the application with admin rights.
Then I deinstalled FUSE and reinstalled it from my regular account with admin rights, but this did not change anything.
Why Fuse is the only program behaving like that? The other programs on my PC which I have installed from the admin account are executable from the ohter accounts too?

Hello Häbbe,

I'm glad you were able to get 2.0 installed. As far as the admin issue, we hear you. Fender Fuse is a little different from some other apps due to the fact that it is tied to a hardware device, in this case the amplifier. This makes have to play by different rules than other apps. However, we're currently working on a way to get around that issue.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about Fender FUSE 2.0.

Loren
