I also thank your for your efforts Loren and appreciate the info you were able to provide. I'm sorry if I put you on the spot here. I really just had questions about specific knobs and didn't expect definitions of entire effects. I look forward to the additional documentation whenever it's ready. Thanks again.

Nothing significant to report as of yet. We've all been pretty occupied with working on resolving the issues users are seeing with Fender FUSE 2.0. I haven't forgot though.

Hi! Any update on this topic? I'm really strugling in understanding some effects and when to use a pre or post effect positioning.

The Pre/Post option is like having a virtual effects loop in the amp. If you select Pre, that puts the effect before the preamp - like you would hook up a real stomp box to the input of your amp. If you select Post, it puts the effect after the preamp - like plugging a rack mounted effects unit in the effects loop of an amp. Chorus, Flange, Tremolo, Delay and reverb effects typically sound better in the Post setting. Most people like to put Overdrives and Compressors in the front (Pre) input of an amp but I like to add them after the preamp. It's a different sound - especially the Overdrive in that it mellows out the buzz. Some people think it's muddy in that position but I don't. It just doesn't have as much of that buzziness most distortion sounds have that I can't stand. To me just sounds smooth and liquid-like.
