Hey Guys,

We are in the beta testing stages of a new version of Fender FUSE. In this version all Mac OS/Silverlight issues have been resolved. You will have access to this version as soon as we are done testing it.

In the meantime, if you are having issues with Fender FUSE, please give us a call. There is a good chance that we can get you up and running over the phone.

Hi Loren,
sorry to tell you but beeing in Portugal, Europe, is quite hard for me to give you a call and solve the issues over the phone.
If i may suggest you should make a FAQ or something posted in the site for all of us, mac users, to wich isn't as simple as a phone call to your technicians.

Thx
Jose Rosa

Hey Jrosa,

Welcome to the Fender forums. We will be releasing an update for both Mac and Windows versions of Fender FUSE very soon. We are currently in the final stage of beta testing. The release will correct the Silverlight update issue as well as the Mac OS 10.6.4 incompatibility. We appreciate your patience.

Loren

Eddie, I'm not sure if this will help you (doubtful, actually), but for what it's worth, I'm using an iMac 24" 2.8GHx Core 2 Duo machine w/ 4GB RAM and I'm running OS X 10.6.4. I did the Silverlight update first (after repeatedly declining it per Loren's instructions prior to now), then downloaded the Fuse 2.0 software from the link. I let the installation run (it ran through three or four different installations of components to Fuse). Once it completed, it restarted my machine. After the restart, I launched Fuse, hooked up my GDEC-3 30, and Fuse 2.0 worked perfectly. I'm still playing around with it, but all of the issues I had before seem to be worked out. I'm not a power user, but so far, everything I've tried to do has worked, and worked well.

I'm hoping perhaps if you update Silverlight and then run through the install process again, it might work better for you. I'd be happy knowing you're up and running before your students show up.
