Can the loops be saved or do you need to create one each time? Thanks

Hi JoeR,

Thanks for your inquiry. Loops can be saved. You would simply record your Loop, and Overdub (if desired), and then press the Phrase soft key under the Fender G-DEC 3 display, and navigate (left/right arrows) to the screen that says Save to. Here you can select HD or SD (if you have an SD card inserted), and save your file.

Thanks Alan. Now that I've done that, I can't seem to locate the file(s). How do I do that?

Hi JoeR,

OK. Now that you have saved your files, you can access them by placing your Fender G-DEC 3 in USB drive mode. This can be done by pressing and holding the Exit button on the amp. This will take you into Utility mode. Once there, you will want to arrow left or right (soft keys under the amp display). And locate the page that says USB Drive. Press either of the center soft keys to Enter USB drive mode.

Once there, you can go to My Computer (Win), and click on the G-DEC icon. For (Mac), the drive icons will show on your desktop. Click on the G-DEC drive, and look for the Phrase folder. Your .wav files should be in this folder.

Hi JoeR,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. First of all, are you on Mac or Windows. If on Windows, did you go to My Computer/G-DEC (icon)? If on Mac, you may want to try to restart either the amp or your Mac, and try to place the amp in to USB mode once again. And see if the G-DEC icon shows up on your desktop.

Please let me know if this helps. If you need further assistance, please call or email us.
