Awesome! Thanks! I can't get the DVD to play or install on my desktop with XP. Where can I get the Ableton Live Lite 8 as a download, or where is it on the DVD so I can copy it to my hard drive?

Either use a flash drive on a computer that has an optical drive to copy the files from the DVD and transfer to your netbook, or buy an external USB DVD writer. They only cost about $80 at RadioShack or Best Buy.

Use Windows Explorer to find the software you want to install...it's pretty easy to find.

Have Fun!

You can find installers for Fender FUSE here:

I had the same problem with the DVD on my Windows XP computer, so I made a copy of it on a computer I have that runs Windows 7. The copy worked on one of the 2 DVD drives that I have on my XP machine. Not sure why it wouldn't play on my burner, but would on my reader, and the original disc wouldn't play on either. My Windows 7 computer didn't have a problem with either disc.

Fender may want to check into that, Loren?

We have heard a few reports of DVD's not working at all but nothing like what you experienced. We are currently in the process of reworking the DVD to prevent issues like the one you had. We can send you a new DVD as well if yours isn't working.

Thanks for the offer. I was able to get the files to work off the copy DVD on my DVD-ROM drive, not the burner.

As I've said in other threads on this website, your tech support is excellent, and much appreciated!

Bob

P.S. I just remembered...my XP machine is still running SP2, so I'm upgrading it to SP3 to see if that affects the reading of the DVD.
