I know how to upload the presets. but what about the band tracks?
this is specifically to the community with fuse not the G-dec itself.

Hi jaminjimlp,

Thanks for your inquiry. You can only upload Presets to the Fender FUSE Community web site. This is for copyright reasons. But Fender continually adds new content to the Band Track section. So please check back often.

I figured as much... I may post some tracks on my own web page that I am working on that are my own property to do so...

One More thing, If I were to come up with some good tracks for the G-dec 3 and copyright them and then give the rights to Fender for usage would you then be able to post them and do you have a form that I could obtain from you to submit the rights of said tracks to Fender?

Hi Alan,

Regarding the "continually" uploading of band tracks by fender, as you stated in your answer to someone about uploading band tracks, how often is "continually?" That would indicate daily uploads. Perhaps "sometimes" would be a more honest assessment>

Hi CliffordLance,

Fender does continually release additional Band Tracks. The word continually does not specifically mean daily. To me it would indicate the "ongoing" release of new Band Tracks. If you prefer the word ongonig, that works as well.

I have not stated that Fender releases new Band Tracks daily. Hopefully the words continually and ongoing would not suggest daily release of new Band Tracks for most users, but rather regular or ongoing releases of new Band Tracks.

Look, stop dancing around the issue. I've never purchased a product so devoid of useful documentation. You've got to assume that most people have no idea how to accomplish what you're promising. You say "configure," I say show me. Ok, I've downloaded some backing music. Tell me step by step how to get it into the amp; you say you can do this or that, I'm tired of posturing, give me line-by-line instructions on the basics. All your flashy illustrations aren't worth a hoot if you don't outline the basics of how to accomplish a specific function.

Why don't you just bite the bullet and tell people how to accomplish the things they paid for when they purchased this product. It's just one excuse after another, one semantic after another. As a consumer, I expect to get what I paid for; so far what I have here is a product that promises great things, now just give me the tools to achieve them. Honestly, if this product actually lives up to the hype, how difficult can it be for you folks to provide step-by-step tutorials on how do use it?

I am as tired of this as you folks are and I'll bet I'm not alone. As a journalist, I can tell you that you people are not putting yourself in a very good light. Perhaps that's why there, to my knowlegde, been no meaningful, objective review of this amplifier and its acoutrements. Frankly, I'm going to return it and I really doubt I'll purchase another new, hyped product from you folks.

Hey , Cliff

This is a reply I sent to another post here in the forum it answers some of what you ask for and I would not have known fully with out searching and doing allot trial and error testing on my own then finding out there is an "advanced G dec-3 manual" that is why I posted a poll for it to be made a sticky (put at the top of the forum like the "announcements") please vote for it if you would. I don't know if you knew about the advanced manual or not but it is much more clear and in depth than the vague one sent with the amp. Hope this helps you.

after you change the preset you have to push "exit" button then push the "softkey" that has "band " over it (on bottom of the display of g dec) then it says "band type" use the wheel to choose between mp3/wav and midi then push the "softkey" with "file" above it and use the wheel to select then hit the save button 2x and your done.... notice when your turning the wheel that above the song name the word reads (g-dec-sd) or(g-dec-hd) that is the current storage area you are in.
I also fond this:
Band Track Selection
To select a new band track:
1. Press the BAND soft-key.
2. The first menu is Band Type. Here you can select either MP3/WAV –or– MIDI as the band track file type.
♫ Select MP3/WAV as the Band Type for the best results in most instances. MIDI is more useful for specialized purposes
such as generating metronome clicks.
3. Press the FILE soft-key to access the band track File selection
menu.
4. Turn the big knob to select a new band track.
♫ Turning the big knob will scroll through all the band tracks on the G-DEC 3 hard drive (HD) in alphanumerical
order and then continue with all the band tracks on the SD card (SD).
5. Press EXIT.
♫ The SAVE button will turn red to indicate a change to the current preset. To reset the band track, simply turn the big knob to a different preset and then back again.

Heh i find this whole argument a bit daft
While i understand that the instructions are a bit vague but as far as i have seen the fender staff have answered all queies sooner or later with concise accurate answersi would like to comend them on this, i understand that theyre not eactly enjoying all the questions that show up again and again where sometimes all it would take is for the asker to search the forums for an answer

Also nicely handled Fender staff the OTT nature of some forum posters can be a a pain but well dealt with:)
