I upgraded from beta to v1.0 yesterday. Everything worked fine at first and I was able to connect the amp via USB and build some presets. I disconnected the amp, quit FUSE and put my MacBook on standby. A few hours later I re-opened FUSE and tried to connect the amp as before. Nothing. FUSE just seemed to lock up. I re-installed FUSE and once again everything was fine on the first usage. But today, when I tried to connect the G-DEC3 and my MacBook everything froze up again. I can't access any of the features in FUSE. It opens, but just appears to be hung up. Any suggestions. I am using Leopard OS 10.5.8.

You mentioned putting your laptop on standby. Did you try a restart of the system before reinstalling Fender FUSE. I know of a few USB devices that don't work well once the Mac wakes from sleep. We haven't heard any reports of this with the G-DEC and Fender FUSE though. Try restarting and if that doesn't work, try deleting these files/folders:

Delete Fender FUSE from the /Applications folder

Delete the folder: User Home/Library/Application
Support/Microsoft/Silverlight/OutOfBrowser/266953588.localhost/

Delete the file: User Home/Library/Application
Support/Microsoft/Silverlight/OutOfBrowser/localhost

Delete the folder: User Home/.config/Fender/

I hope that helps.

Loren,

I tried again the things you suggested. In the Silverlight folder, I am not finding the files you specify. Perhaps that is part of the problem. I am also not able to locate the "User Home/.config/Fender/" folder.

Even after a complete delete, fresh download and re-install things are not working right. The amp tries unsuccesfully to sync with Fuse. Any suggestions? I was not having this problem with the Besta version.
