I've got a really great "Talk to Your Daughter" backing track that I like to jam to and am trying to recreate a Dumble tone like Robben's. I'm using a Les Paul with PAF-style humbuckers. The closest I've been able to get is with the Hot Rod Lead model. It's still not quite there for me.

Has anyone here had luck coming up with a convincing preset to cover this tone? I'm thinking it's important to keep the tone stack before distortion for a more "spongy" feel. [edit: just read that the original ODS had the tone stack after the first gain stage.]

What are your suggestions?
