After adding an MP3 to the media library, I am attempting to send the file to the AMP using FUSE by right clicking on it and sending to AMP. The process starts, the red status indicator simply goes back and forth repeatedly and the file never gets to the amp. I cannot cancel the transfer, we have to turn off the amp to get it out of transfer mode.

Update: When we go back to check, the song is THERE ... but it copied about the first 30 seconds over and over.

(I can make it all work by just putting the amp in the USB mode, and copying and pasting the song into the "audio" folder, then everything works fine ... so there must be a problem with the software?)

Any suggestions?

Hi (again) JDLinn,

This is unusual behavior for Fender FUSE & G-DEC 3. I would suggest that you download and install our Fender FUSE version 1.1.3 update. (If you are on Mac OS X, there is a 1.0.0 version of the software on the same page). You can find both here: https://fuse.fender.com/.

See if this behavior is corrected. If you are still having troubles with this, please contact us directly. And we can walk you through some additional steps to sort this out. Thanks .

Alan ... I basically quit using FUSE for moving files around, I now only use it to add a bandtrack to a preset, etc. But the file library is just not stable for me. Before I bring up FUSE, I just start Task Manager (Win 7) and open the "process" tab so it is ready. Then I run FUSE. When it crashes, and it seems to 2 or 3 times a session, I just open the task manager, find the FUSE process and END it and restart FUSE and continue with my task.

Once I started moving the files with the USB, I no longer encountered the problem I indicated to you.

You'll see this also may be related to another problem. When the red dot was going back and forth (forever ... 2 hours) I decided something was wrong and shut everything down. The next time I went back to the USB to look at the files .. I got a "scan and repair" error. So something happened. I know you cannot disconnect a flash disk when it is doing something ... but this one apparently was not. The two problems may be related.

(Tnx again for the quick responses, Doug)

Hi Doug,

I'm sorry to hear that you are having troubles with Fender FUSE crashing. We have just released an update (version 1.1.3). You can find that here: http://www.fender.com/support/gdec3/art ... p?kb_id=48

Please download this update when you have a chance, and see if the functionality you are mentioning here is restored. Please note that the Scan and Repair message is a OS related message. You should click Continue instead in those situations.

Anyway, if you continue to have problems, please contact us directly, and we can go over some additional things with you.

Best Regards,

Alan, will do, I was using 1.1.2. I'll work on it tomorrow and get back to you on this thread and let you know the result. Thank you very much. D
