I'm still not happy with my surf tone. Does anyone have a handle on the reverb units in fuse? My sound is too hollow for good alternate picking. I'm out on the web trying to find the correct settings for a good Dick Dale sound.

Reverb tank??? Most of the guys I see are usually running about 6-6-6. Head over to Surfguitar101, if you're not there already, and search through the Gear forum. Might find more info there.

Thanks! Now to apply it to the G-Dec 3.

I attempted a surf tone last night and posted it to the forum as "Surfs Up". The preset was based on the settings from a Cyber Deluxe preset which I found on an old GDEC patchlist.

To me the tone I made is somewhere between a dryish "Pipeline" reverb and a wetter Dick Dale reverb. When experimenting, turning up the Diffusion control helps to smooth out what I think of the percolator sound of a full on reverb tank.

If you are still working on a surf tone I'd be very interested to see what you have come up with.

I have a gig tonight and will load your surf tone and see if it works. I hope so!

I used your preset for "Pipeline" at our show in SC and it sounded great! I even had a guy that was at our show in GA when I used my old surf setting and he commented how much better the surf sound was this time so GREAT JOB! Thanks!
