Just got the New Gdec 3. Learning how to do things. I downloaded the old midi files from gdec 30. The addition to wav files is a big plus. I have quite a few I used with Line 6 tone port. I used www.youtube.com songs from popular artist to jam with. Computer a little slow at times but worked. I am curious how it will record and that will be the big test. I know having the Gdec and Computer and Fender MIM fat strat togather was a little hummy at times even on humbucker. The poor insulation on older MIM strats has been improved. So some guitars will be worse that others. Of course some of the settings on GDEC are pretty effects driven. Any one record yet and how did it turn out?

I haven't recorded with it, but I love the noise suppressor on the Gdec3. I think you will be able to get it to work well for you.
