Is it possible to upload a band track selection from the amp to your computer hard drive? The manual says you can download to the amp from your computer, but I want to upload a band track to my HD. I am able to get fuse and the amp to communicate. I really really love this amp.

Hey Patt,

I'm glad you like your amp. You can easily transfer files from the amp to your computer using the USB Drive mode function in the UTIL menu. This allows the G-DEC 3's internal memory and SD card to be mounted to your computer as if they were external removable drives. That way you can just drag the files from the G-DEC 3 HD to your desktop or documents folder.

Thank you for your reply. When I open the utility menu this is what I see, Update Firmware; Backup; Restore; and Tuner. I don't see any usb mode. I have the amp and computer joined with the usb cable and they are communicating. I do not have a SD card in the amp. Is that the problem? Also where is the fender list for suitable SD cards for this amp.

I'm sorry if you misunderstood Patt. I was referring to the UTIL menu on the amplifier, not in the Fender FUSE software. If you hold the exit button on the amp for a few seconds you will access the Utility menu. If you scroll through that you will see the USB Drive option. If you have any trouble just give a shout.

And aren't ALL of the band tracks on the DVD that comes with the 3 Thirty anyway? Once you transfer the Audio Content folder, you have all the band tracks on your hard drive in both Mono and Stereo.
