Firstly, my new GDEC 3 30 is awesome. It's a great upgrade from my former GDEC 30. I do have a problem however. I've been unable to download Fuse v1.1.0. I get this error message "Error opening file for writing" Any suggestions on how to overcome this?

Hi archtop52,

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with getting Fender FUSE installed. Can you tell me if you trying to use the installer from the DVD, or trying to download from the Fender site?

Also, are you on Mac or Windows. If you are on Mac OS, that version is not available quite yet. If you are waiting for the Mac version, please contact us to be added to Fender FUSE Mac notification list. Please call us at 480-569-7195 and ask for TSL, or email us at: consumerrelations@fender.com, and ask to have your email forwarded to the Technology Support Lab.

Thanks very much.

Thanks for your reply Alan. I'm running Windows XP and am trying to download v1.1.0 from the Fender site. I installed v1.1.0 from the DVD that came with my amp and I have no problems with that - works fine.

Alan sorry. I meant to say v1.0.0 works fine from the DVD, it's downloading v1.1.0 from the Fender site that's giving me problems.

I found the problem(me) v1.1.0 is loaded and working. My initial attempts failed when I tried to download v1.1.0 while I was running v1.0.0. I was successful when I logged off Fuse, went to the Fender site and downloaded from there. Quick and easy!
