I'm brand new, so I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you.

But I wanted to ask.....has this been ignored here the whole time?

It will save to the active preset on the Mustang II v.2 There is also an update that you can flash to the amp if you have an early production unit. And there are two owners manuals you can download. A short start one and a more detailed owner's manual. https://www.fmicassets.com/Damroot/Orig ... nglish.pdf

You won't hear from Fender staff in this forum. Fender has released the updated " Mustang GT" amp line, and immediately abandoned the v1/v2 Mustang amps.

A lot of the v1/v2 Mustang users either:

1. Upgraded to Mustang GT
2. Went with a Marshall Code
3. Went with a Boss Katana
4. Went with a Line 6
5. Went with AxeFX
6. Went back to using a traditional tube or solid state amp

There are a handful of us left who still comment in this forum, but unfortunately we are no replacement for actual support from Fender. The question above is about saving to a Mustang II. I have a Mustang III so the menus are different and it's hard for me to help.

My advice:

Don't buy another Fender Mustang amp again unless you (A) can afford to buy a whole new amp every 2-5 years, or (B) Fender changes their support model and stops abandoning products that are only a few years old.
