What are “huntersounds patches”?

Do you have a bunch of mustang preset files you want to save to the amp?

Are you using a Mac? A PC? What operating system?

Sorry more questions than answers. A little more info would help me help you.

Thank you for your response. They are patches that Richard Hunter has made to place on a Mustang III-IV to improve harp(harmonica) sounds when playing through said amps. I purchase these to be downloaded from him and then wish to be placed on the Mustang III. Since you may be confused with what I am mentioning you may wish to go to www.hunterharp.com

Looking forward to your response and aid in my completing this task. I am using WINDOWS 7.

Oh that's cool, I never heard of those. I blow a little harp too, might check them out.

OK so if you want to get the new presets into your MEDIA LIBRARY:

1. Open your My Documents folder

2. In My Documents, double-click the Fender folder

3. Now double-click the FUSEFolder

4. Then double-click the Presets folder

This is where all the presets stored on the computer are located. You won't see the presets that are saved to the amp here, only any downloaded patches and those you have created and saved to the computer.

5. Now leave the Presets window open and go to your Desktop where the Hunter Sounds patches are located

6. If the presets are inside a folder on your desktop, open that folder first. Then, select all of the preset files. They should have the name of the preset, and end with .fuse.

7. Right-click the selected presets and then click Copy

8. Go back to the Presets folder window

9. Right-click a blank area of the window (not on any of the existing presets) and then click Paste

This will get the presets into your MEDIA LIBRARY on the computer only. Do you know how to save a preset to the amp once it is in the Media Library?

Thanks ghost for your help. I have not completed your advice as of yet. Have some health issues: flu, pneumonia despite flu shot and under physician's care. Will let you know how the Harpsounds turn out as soon as I recover. Thanks again!

Well I've recovered from the pneumonia and played a gig Saturday Night. Thought for a while I had to get better to die. Ha!
OK, I have got my patches into the Presets folder on my PC. I have attempted to open the Fender Online Community page and followed the support videos without any success. I just cannot find it nor open it??
Need further direction. TY

Don't need further help. I have solved my problem. I was using an outdated Fuse program and once I updated it everything went smoothly. Thanks again. Dr. Mayfield
