GET https://fuse.fender.com/band_tracks/aga ... /download/ 404 (Not Found)

This is true in IE, Chrome, and within the Fuse application.

Some accounts can access the downloads directory while others can not. I happen to be one of the ones that can't.

For anyone concerned about the ability to download presets into the future you can find links to download every preset ever uploaded here: http://fender-mustang-amps-and-fuse.wik ... g_Pre-Sets

I don’t have an android device. Does remuda provide functionality not available in fuse or re-fuse? Is it worth finding a spare android phone to stick on my amp?

after months on end of the site not working and zero response from Fender, sadly most of us have moved on to other products.

You're like that guy who comes stumbling out of the Vietnam woods in 1979 and has no idea the war is over.

Does Orange or any of the others have anything like the Mustang?

Orange used to have the 35ldx, don’t know what they replaced it with. Marshall has one as well I think.

Not sure about Orange but I know Marshall's new modeling amp is called 'Code'. I'm staying away from the whole software/amp thing altogether now. At least until I see some changes in the lifecycle of these devices and the software. There's no reason the software should die before the hardware (other than to boost sales of their next product).

I agree, but I haven't been able to determine whether this (meaning software/amp combos) is like a cellphone model (hardware barely changes but software evolves to support planned obsolescence) or the PC model where the latest and greatest fuse wont run on my PC or Mustang I and its time to upgrade.

I think regardless the difference in tacts, that the current version should at least work as intended.

I was contacted by Fender today. The fuse software and web downloads are working for me again for now. I don't know what they fixed but so glad to hear they are responding.

It was just odd timing. The site went down right around the time they released the GT line of amps with different software. Almost as if it was intentional.

I just emailed Fender yesterday about updating FUSE. The reply basically said Fender is not updating FUSE but is concentrating on Mustang GT. Sounds like BS to me. I told them thanks for throwing the FUSE users under the bus and I will remember this my next purchase and will spread the word.

I was about to grab a used Mustang III locally tomorrow and then read this mess and called off the deal.

They did the same thing basically with the 1200 dollar Cyber Twin.

Gonna stay with my old tube stuff 8)
