FUSE has been dead for 5 years now. The moderators here will only feed you their "no worries, everything is just fine" BS. They never had any intention to update FUSE. And have basically killed all the great Mustang 1,2,3,&4 presets that everyone has been working on for many years. Very sad. Fender comes out with a new product and destroys the last version. Very sad indeed.

Agreed... really not fair...I'm a struggling EMT with medical issues and don't work alot. Don't have the funds to update amps and any equipment all the time. Even a slight upgrade in the present Fuse software would have been great, more presets, maybe more themes, and my biggest pet peeve, allowing more than one of each type of effect in the chain, I don't know, like in real life, like real musicians do on their own pedal boards. ie: a fuzz and overdrive, tremelo and a flanger or chorus...you get the idea. Not fair Fender, not fair, specially on a product that was pretty well liked by all. At least port the new Fender Tone app for the Mustang Amps... guess I'm staying with Remuda!

Haven't even owned the Mustang for a year and the presets are no longer downloadable.

Maybe not the last Fender product I'll own but definitely the last Amplifier!

I just now downloaded three presets with no problem for my Mustang.

But I do agree that Fuse is "dead" in regards that there is no development of it but I have both a G-Dec 3 Thirty and a Mustang III V2.0 so I do use Fuse from time to time. I haven't downloaded anything for my G-Dec in some time, however, so I can't speak to that function.

Ralph,
This is not the first time I’ve tried to download a preset.
I’ve downloaded about 25 presets prior to this happening.
This week however, when I try to download a preset I get a triangle with a line through it.
This is the first time I’ve ever seen anything like this!
Chris

Chris,

I just downloaded another preset OK. Can you tell me which one(s) you can't download?

Cheers,

Chris,

I just now successfully downloaded that Santana preset My Samba Pa Ti. At first the webpage said my embedded browser was not up to speed with the latest Flash so I hit the button and let my browser (Chrome) run Flash temporarily and I downloaded the file fine.

I don't know what to tell you folks but it works for me. I don't think the Flash problem would give you that warning but maybe you could try a different browser? But others here are reporting the same problem so I don't know what's up.

It might also be if your security protocols are set to always prohibit the running of Flash I guess it could cause a problem.

I didn't try from within Fender FUSE (I don't even have it installed anymore). But I was just able to download a preset directly from the website where I wasn't able to just a few months ago. Nothing has changed on my end. It seems they might have fixed something on the server side. But of course, a lot of customers got frustrated and moved on, so in my case it's too little too late.

I normally don't try to download from inside Fuse but I just did ... and it worked. I don't know what's happening. I think I could just download a bunch of presets for future use, do a bulk download.

Ralph,
Just wanted to say thanks for helping me with my downloads.
I was using a new upgrade from Firefox which was somehow not recognizing Fender Fuse as a safe site to download.
Anyway, I’m back up and running and appreciate you going the distance for me.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Fender,

Make you deal. Release the source code and we will take the software to the next level. You clearly are not going to support us. Keep the Forum and Community going and we will maintain the software as open source projects.

Thx,

E

LarryLenz you are so correct. Thank you for being one of the people speaking up to Fender Mustang debacle. To create a complete line of amps, a web site and an initially decent release of software - to then do nothing with it - just sad! Then to pretty much lie to all the customers who purchased a Mustang - not something we expect from a reputable company!

Learned my lesson. I'm looking at the Boss Katana.
