Hi Marky,
Well, my post was not about product. We all agree Fender is doing awsome music equipment including amps. I really would like to continue using Fender equipment (have two guitars and amp already)

But... My post was about customer service. This is really.... BAD.

The FUSE software was released and it's integration with WebAPI (web preset library) was officailly included in Fender offering. It looks like some functionality stopped working. I do NOT ask Fender for any investment in dying product (no need for any new releases of FUSE). I want just to be sure that Fender will support it's product in version "as it was" fot bit longer than 2 years. If they do not do it, it's similiar to situation of car manufacturer designing a car that will intentionally break just after warranty period ends. If such situation happens (all cars were broken suddenly after 2+ years) in car bussiness nobody would ever buy such product anymore.
And I'm talking to you customer interested in Mustang GT purchase ...just think how would you feel when your fabulous new "Fender Tone" software will stoped working in two years from now. Certainly you would loose something... Something that you are considering as "value" now, when buying a fabulous "Fender product with software support".

welp, it's next week. As of last night, I was unable to use any band tracks. I was able to download straight from the website, but none of the tracks were playable. Gave up and went to bed.

here's a crazy theory: Maybe they caused this problem intentionally and aren't fixing it so we will all say "wow my amp is obsolete now, better go buy the new model".

I haven't used the Fuse software for quite a while, and after reading this thread I thought I should give it a try. I had no problems with my GDEC 3 or Mustang III connected to Fuse. I was able to see, download, and update the amp from the Media library on the web. I'm using the current version of Fuse, and both amps have the latest firmware.

I assume you mean downloading new band tracks or presets from the web?

Can you check if you are able to play Band Tracks downloaded directly from the website?: Link

No I meant downloading presets from the web. I didn't try the band tracks, but I will.

So, you're able to see, inside the Fuse software, presets in the media library from the web? All I see is a blank screen like this.

This program cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
•You are not connected to the Internet.
•The website is encountering problems.
•There might be a typing error in the address.
* Fender dont give a $@!& buy a new gt

Hi guys, new here.

I was about to buy a Mustang I V2 and a Bronco40 this morning but I saw this thread...

If I read right, I won't be able to use the Fuse app and online library etc ? Only the in amps presets.

If so, that's very disapointing because both amps are still selling at regular price in stores and online with limited functionalities it seems.

Many thanks for your help.

No, you can still use the Fuse interface to your amp and create and save presets. Anything to do with Fender's online resources through the Fuse software is what's not working.

I'm not sure why some are having such issues with the online software not working. it works just fine for me. I have a used Mustang l (not the V.2) and all the Fuse online stuff works. I'm using a old HP laptop and I can get on and save any of the online presets..

One thing to beware of is that FUSE is a Silverlight application with embedded Flash presented through Internet Explorer as part of Silverlight. This has two implications:

- If in 64-bit Windows, if you upgrade Silverlight to the latest version, you have to reinstall FUSE because the 32-bit components FUSE relies on don't get integrated automatically (technically because the Fender developers never made an install assembly for just the SL components).

- If using a different browser than IE, you may never see the warnings that old versions of Flash for IE have been disabled due to security problems. You have to update Flash for IE. Open IE (not your other browsers), and go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

So, every aspect of fuse media library works for you right now?
