Hi guys,
I have an Ibanez AF71F guitar and a Mustang I V2. I am trying to get an acoustic guitar sound out of the combination.
I have managed to get a clean sound.
Has anybody got any ideas, tips?
Cheers

IMO, it is impossible to get a decent acoustic emulation going with this "High speed amp'd up and LOUD" amp. I don't think anyone has proven that assertion wrong thus far.

Believable acoustic emulation is near impossible no matter what kind of equipment you use, unless you go through midi and samples.
The Artcore, while a good semihollow, just can't deliver a truly acoustic-like sound, unless you put a piezo pickup on the bridge.

But a more neutral clean sound than through the standard presets is possible with the Mustang. Set your volume, turn it off, then hold the TAP button while turning it on. That puts it in bypass mode with no emulation running, which is suitable for acoustics.

Sounds good. I'll give it a try soon. I don't play much acoustic but when I do I drag out my little dust covered acoustic practice amp. It will be nice to not have to do that anymore.

Thanks for all your great advice!
