I just purchased a Mustang III v2 (used) and did a factory reset of the presets. I followed some instructions (suggestions) for backing up the presets in Fuse so I can start moving and adding presets. However, the backed up presets don't show up in the media editor (computer) and if I go looking in the Fender folder there is no "backup" folder to access those presets. I'm pretty computer savvy so I'm at a loss where Fuse is storing those presets...

Any help?

Thanks

This message may not help you t all, but this is what I have found.

I have a Mac, and I'm running Sierra with my Documents folder in iCloud Drive. My FUSE files were stored in my Documents folder in a sub-folder called Fender, with a further folder called FUSE. This has a folder Presets which has the presets that I have downloaded from the web-site. These files are pretty comprehensive, they have the effect settings, volume/tone settings and so on. There is also a folder AmpData, which has 99 files named M2_xx.fuse (I guess for Mustang V2), but these files only have the preset names and the pedal colours. They don't have the preset definitions. As far as I can see there is no folder with the "factory" preset files. I have found some of them on the web-site, but I've had to search for each one individually.

I can't be sure but I think on a Windows PC FUSE would store the preset files under My Documents

Hope this helps
Derek

+1 What he said. Also, next to the Preset folder, should be a Backups folder. I'm also on a Mac, but the PC should use the same structure.
