I've had my Mustang ii for 10 days. What a toy, I can't put it down. I can also understand buying the III or IV.
Now what I immediately see would be an improvement on the software.

Reports, just to able to kick out all the presets, descriptions, location, etc. It can be tab delimited text, so not a lot of processing power. Maybe have the firmware and Fuse version on the header.

Band, more control. This is a bit tougher than the report request. Maybe looping a section of an mp3. Even able to play midi. I will probably have to Audacity some tunes for practice purpose. Midi I will have to Cubase them kick them out as wave.

Maybe I haven't seen this and it can be done easier. But an easy way to get back to the presets on the Mustang,. Example: I am fine tuning a new preset and finally save it. The only way I can see to back to the presets on the Mustang is a restore or reboot of Fuse.

Being able to select the folder Mustang sees as presets or effect setups.

Speaking of effects, a more usable technique of using effect setups. Example: having a Amp/Effect setup and being able to just swap out the effects. Again it may be there, I just have not found it yet.

Oh well, that's all for now. Again a great little amp.

As you may know, Fender has left fuse dormant for several years, notwithstanding countless feature improvement suggestions and recommendations.

Your comments are good!

We're not alone in wanting some method to generate Reports, and more....

If you have an Android Tablet or Smartphone, the REMUDA App does things that fuse cannot. Particularly, for the MI and MII, which have no LCD display, the App adds to the Mustang's ease of use.

Since you have only had the amp for a few days, you probably are not aware. Mustang Amp owners have been asking for such features for "years". We have been asking for even a software update, again for years. Fender finally locked the forum - here: http://forums.fender.com/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=73425

The Mustang amps are great, however they have been abandoned by Fender. That forum listed above goes back to 2012. No change in software (other than a single minor patch) for 4 years! I think grritz's "Held Hostage" postings finally pushed it over the edge :?

"FUSE for the future" reads a bit like "Cassette tapes for the future".
The horse ain't getting back up, so there's no point beating it.

An update now seems as unlikely as an update for the Fender Cyber Twin.

Fuse was a joke on us poor players to buy into the computer generated sounds and the possibilities.
well we bought, they licked their chops at the sales numbers, sat back and had a good laugh.
Practice amp at best, 40 watt Mustang II, even with a $150 Celestion, and open back, it's what it is-
an inexpensive toy bouncin around the barnyard , trying to be the head rooster. Glad it's just a back up to a back up, that I got used for $100.
