The other "suggestion" box is closed, so I'm starting a new one.

Hopefully, Fender will monitor this...

1. Create an IOS / Android version: better for live shows than lugging a laptop
2. Allow multiple stomp box instances, OR just put a compressor / noise gate inline (first effect, usually) to allow compression AND something like a distortion.
3. Isolate the WAH effect from the other stomp boxes. It is almost always true that if you have WAH, you want a distortion (See Hendrix, SRV et al).
4. Create a method for USERS to design/tweek stomp boxes. I can easily imagine want to create (if #2 or #3 can't be done) a combo compressor/overdrive (or distortion) or a wah and distortion stomp box (Dunlop has the 535Q, for example, with built in "boost" that is really an overdrive).
5. Lastly, create a full developer kit for designing, coding, and installing stomp boxes. I'll bet there could be a lively developer community creating all sorts of stomps you haven't had the time to do (Klon Centaur overdrive comes to mind, and things like the Strymon Deco).

Regarding your Point #2, the Advanced Amp parameters of each Amp profile (except the Basic Studio Preamp) modeled in the Mustangs and in each Preset has a Noise Gate parameter. The SAG and BIAS also may be custom set to achieve a compression effect.

Regarding your point #3, although not "isolated" the two Wah FX exist, both, in the Stomp FX bank, and in the Mod FX bank in the v.2 firmware Mustangs.

Note! None of the above are global settings! Each must be set and saved, as desired, for each Preset! Only, the Android REMUDA App, remembers all of your last used Amp, Advanced Amp, and FX parameter settings! So, you do not have to always restart from scratch every time you retrieve an Amp or FX from the available factory default choices.

There are two wah effects in STOMP: touch was, and touch fuzz wah. I don't see any wah in MOD effects, either before or after the amp.

Sorry; never mind about the wah stuff: I had my old Mustang II (V.1) connected; when I connected a Mustang III V.2, there the wahs appeared in the mod effects as well.

What Mustang model and version do you have?
What firmware is installed?

The current v.2 Mustang Models with current firmware 2.2 (several years old) have a Wah and a Touch Wah in the Mod FX bank, and, in the Stomp FX Bank.

I am not sure if installing the current firmware to the earlier model mustang version amps is supported to bring them up to date. If so, you'll need FUSE to do it. Bear in mind that FUSE is older than the current firmware! So, you'll need to download the firmware to your computer first. Then direct FUSE to use that version of the firmware to install to your Amp. Otherwise, fuse only knows to use its internally available (out of date) firmware. Some have reported they unknowingly allowed fuse to do that, and wound up going backwards by fuse installing an older firmware version to their amp. The instructions to avoid that are on Fender's Mustang support site area listed under something like: Updating Firmware.

Then disregard the additional content re: firmware I just added to my previous post.

You should find both Wah FX in both FX Banks.

Firmware all updated; note for El Capitan users, and maybe Mac in general: after you install FUSE, if Silverlight gets installed, throw it out immediately and go to the Microsoft site to install Silverlight 5.1. Otherwise, you get the dreaded "plugin blocked" message on start up.

Note to Fender as it pursues (hopefully) FUSE updates: Silverlight is considered by Apple to be a security hole of biblical proportions...as is Flash. But I don't really expect Fender to rewrite their software, though they should. But for Silverlight, especially, you should go to Safari (whatever) plug in management and authorize ONLY FUSE to use it.
