Hi,
SmartFuse is a PowerPoint Add-In allowing automation over the Fender® FUSE™ application to set your amp preset, trigger effects or display the tuner from within your PowerPoint slideshows on Windows/PC.
USB footswitch (optional) can be connected to the labtop to keep hands free.
Slideshows for live playlist, pedago, training session,... can be designed with lyrics, chords, audio, video, scanned documents, animations, web links,…
Watch the video on

It looks like a good alternative to replace the score stand and tricky manual amp setting.
Ready to use slides can be shared by the user community.
Various display mode preferences can be set in order to share the PC screen between PowerPoint and Fender Fuse.
Compliant with all versions of Microsoft Powerpoint on PC Windows 32 and 64 bits and requires Fender® FUSE™ software version .7.1,
the Add-In is available on free trial version at:
http://www.smartvl.com/SmartFuse.zip

Thank you for your feedback.

Cheers
Yves

You have to buy the program again every time you buy a new computer? :|

Exactly, that's how it works for the SmartFuse full license...
Do you often change of computer ?
If so, I guess you can afford a 10$ for this software that I'm sure you won't regret your buy...
Try the free trial version to be in convinced, then if you decide to buy the first full license, as an introductory special, I'll be glad to offer you the next two ones.

What if your hard drive "dies" and you have to replace the hard drive and reinstall Windows, but it's the same system case? Would you have to pay for another download?

No problem if you have made a backup you can reinstall it to the new hard drive.

A backup of what? The program? The executable or MSI to re-install the program? Or the license itself?

Don't forget to add the cost of PowerPoint, which isn't exactly free.
And a good AV program, because PowerPoint isn't exactly safe..

So in total, more than the amp costs?

I must admit that those who have PowerPoint on their PC are benefited. It is also true that for nothing and without taking any risk, you probably do nothing. Microsoft Powerpoint and Fender® FUSE™ are really cool softwares. SmartFuse joins them together to the delight of guitarists. Try it for free, It is guaranteed virus free. I'm impatient to have your user feedback.

Why this question does it seem to you so important and how it can be interesting to other users?

Because I like to know what I'm paying for before I make a purchase. Why don't you want to tell me the answer?

You know, this comes periliously close to advertising a product on Fender's forums, which is specifically against the rules. Even if there's a trial version, you're hawking a product that costs money.

And how this is different from all the Remuda related posts?

Because *supposedly* it is not the app developer talking about it, just regular forum members who do not stand to gain financially from Remuda, although I find the timing of a certain Remuda aficionado joining the forums, and then "discovering" the app a little suspicious.

Remuda's developer is not on the Fender Forums pitching his product!

I am not Remuda's developer and do not work for him. I have no pecuniary involvement with nor vested interest in Remuda.

I own two Mustang amps and discovered Remuda last Summer, many months after buying my Amps and joining the Forums. I have several Android devices (smartphones and tablets) that I use far more frequently than my Desktop PCs which are located in different rooms from my Mustangs. I have not opted to purchase a PC Laptop. As Fender has not revised FUSE to run on Android, FUSE is limiting for me, especially as I do not rely on outside user community presets. I found Remuda to be far more useful and it provides features that FUSE lacks.

I have been delighted to share my Mustang (and Remuda) user experiences, good and bad, with other Mustang owners through hundreds of posts here on the Forums, many of which predate my finding Remuda.

I'm not selling anything. As a power user, I want powerful and convenient software with features and capabilities that empower my advanced use of the Mustangs. I want to see features and capabilites expand and improve. Sadly Fender has allowed FUSE to become a dead stick for several years and that software does not serve all of my needs. Remuda works for me.

SmartFuse may indeed be exceptional. I look forward to seeing what the free version does once I find some time and next get to the PC. FWIW, I use PowerPoint even less frequently than FUSE....
