You're moving the goalposts here. Your claim was that "The number of copies sold for any iOS app is ALWAYS higher than on Android". Now you're abandoning that claim and talk about revenue?

In the Android infrastructure, you're expected to have a free version and a paid for version, so people can try before they buy. Alternatively, in-app purchases. In the iOS infrastructure, it's more common to see apps that only exist in a paid-for version. This affects the numbers.

But at any rate, you proposed a price for iOS that is 50% lower than the price in the Google app store. That would mean that they would have to sell more copies to make the same, something your numbers doesn't support.
And again, porting is not a trivial job, especially not if you don't have developers familiar with the platform to be ported to. With 50 copies sold, it's doubtful that the Remuda team (a single person?) can run out and hire someone to port it.

If I were to speculate, it's more likely that Fender pays him and releases Remuda under a different name as their own. There's precedence. (And then fail to deliver updates, which there is also precedence for.)

On a good note! Have you seen the new Code modelling amplifiers from Marshall. Bluetooth support, Android / iPhone Support with a good app too so you don`t have to plug your amp in to tweak. ...Everything Fender should be doing with their Fuse software!!!..eh Hem.

I like the Marshall CODE for a modeling amp. Lots of good sound too for the bigger models.
And having an experienced 3rd party do the firmware and software was smart.

However, the design itself leads to a single-cycle product without room for changes or improvements. The best you can hope for with CODE is interface improvements. Adding a control panel that isn't skeuomporphic but ideal for the IO capabilities of where it runs is welcome. Round knobs never make sense on a computer or phone interface.
But the features and what they do seems locked in stone by the design. The selling point of everything you do on the amp can be done on the app and vice versa pretty much locks it down.

A future CODE model might have more amp and cab models, and the software should be able to handle that with minor mods, but again, that's a single-cycle product. Manufacturers love those, as it pushes the buyers into re-buying something just to get more features. Consumerism.
I'd rather pay more up front for something that really is upgradeable and will have long-term support. Unlike Marshall CODE and Fender Mustang.

Edit: tense correction

Arth, these things aren't even available yet afaik, what are you basing your statements on? Are you a spy working for Marshall??

The amazing new Marshall Code 25 combo will begin shipping in early July. Place your pre-order now to ensure yours ships as soon as they become available.

Is that the best you can do?

There are plenty of online reviews, including videos. Which show how the panel and software interfaces work, and mirror each other. And demo the amp and cab modelling.
And not just from Marshall either - big vendors have been given samples for independent reviewing. Here's one:

Oh, and you can download the Marshall Gateway app and check it out for yourself. It gives a pretty good indication on what the software possibilities are like :p

Arth....

"Lots of good sound too for the bigger models."

is that based on the compressed audio you listened to on YouTube? Or the opinions of other people who are giving the reviews?

In the case of the video above, Andertons is in the business of selling amps and they are located in the UK. Perhaps they are a wee bit biased...

ANDERTONS MUSIC
We have been a Marshall dealer since we opened in 1964. We are delighted to continue that legacy as a Marshall Elite Dealer. Over the last 50 years we’ve grown to have a big impact in the UK winning multiple MIA Best UK Retailer awards. One highlight being the only dealer in the world ever to have co-designed a Marshall amp to celebrate our 50th anniversary!

At the root of it all everyone here is agreeing on what makes a good modern modelling amp.
I guess I'm just astonishad that the manufacturers struggle to get it right.
If Mustang sells so well it must make them money, so why not rebrand it as the "Stratotang by Fender" and get on with updating it. Updating should be SO much cheaper then any initial s/w build.
OR is it in fact not such a big earner for them? Some bizarre business decisions they seem to make.

Also very surprised Remuda has only sold 50 copies.. does it get promoted on the other guitar/gear forums?
Ok.. did a quick web search: not found "gearslutz remuda"

Latest from Fender, back in 2014:

At this point, it should be clear even to the die-hards that FUSE is abandonware. There's some 3rd party life support with Remuda, but to get new features, look elsewhere.
<Snip>
Regardless that Fender has not updated FUSE since 2014, the Android Remuda App is continually bringing new features (that FUSE lacks) to Mustang all the time!

Some of these include:
● Android 3.x and newer Smartphone and Tablet Touchscreen convenience
● Easy Drag and Drop Preset Reorganizing
● Display Presets by Name or Number
● Display of Favorite Presets
● Performance Mode allows Sets of Multiple Presets per Song
● Dynamic Quick Access Preset mapping to footswitch buttons per Song
● Effect Settings Memory remembers how you like your FX to be set when added to a Preset
● Amp Settings Memory remembers how you like your Amps to be set when added to a Preset
● Visual Indication of changed Parameter Values by Color and Flag
● Fine Control Plus (+) and Minus (-) Value Parameter Buttons

What is a shame is some of these features are now on competitors products.

I say we get back on track to yelling at Fender :) I'm shocked they are still selling the Mustang line, bundled with 4 year older software. They could probably add a lot of the features to the Windows / Mac versions by going to Fiverr and spending like $200.

Fender has been saying they were going to update Fuse for 5 years now and have done NOTHING but a few minor bug fixes. They have lied to us for years. I've sold my Mustang III amp and have moved on to much better equipment. Not to say I didn't like the Mustang III, I just didn't like the fact that is was somewhat difficult to make sets and move patches around. I called fender to talk to the TSL but they wouldn't let me talk to then. I said I was coming to their Scottsdale, Arizona office in persons to talk with the TSL. What they told me on the phone was that NO ONE would talk with me. I could just sit in the lobby as long as I wanted to but no one would even talk with me about Fuse. That was the last straw. there are, in my opinion, much better guitars and amps out there that are less expensive and sound a whole lot better and built better as well. Fender is running this company into the ground and cheating all of the people who purchase their products.
