Just curious if anyone has been successful recording over USB to their DAW using the FUSE driver. Evidently, the FUSE driver is a modified version of ASIO4all.

I tried it once and got the track to record. The problem was that I would need to change the audio driver that the DAW used to the Fender FUSE driver and at that point the other tracks were silent.

I use Reaper 5.1, Tracktion 6 and Studio One 2.6.

I really like the sound of the Mustang III v.2 and would really like to record it direct inject!

The modifications seem to be just replacing all references to ASIO4ALL and Michael Tippach with references to Fender, and removing the documentation that comes with ASIO4ALL. (And installing it with a different UUID, which causes clashes if both are installed). The code appears to be exactly the same, bit for bit.
Fender has likely bought a special license from Mr. Tippach or Steinberg to be allowed to do so.

You may want to try uninstalling Fender's version and install the real one, to see whether the DAW likes that better.

Hey - now that's a clever idea - I think I'll try that!
