My guess would be that the G-Dec is for Guitar and the B-Dec is for Bass.

The BDEC is way different than the GDEC and here are some reasons why:
1) every one of the performance loops has an "A" section and a "B" section so that a bass player can learn transitions of songs better
2) has pre-programed bass tracks so that you can learn bass lines (you can have the bass tracks always on,alternate, or off)
3) has "Teacher Loops" that cover scales, timing, slap techniques, and warm up excersices
4) comes with a method book that has ever Performance loop and Teacher loop written out in Notation as well as Tab
5) has "Tempo Creep" which is at the end of every loop you can have it automaticly increase the tempo of the patch from 1-10 beats per minute depending where you set it dictated by the Tempo Delta so you can build your dextarity and coordination
6) has "Auto Key" which changes the key of the patch at the end of every loop from a min 2nd to a Maj 7th and anywhere in between dictated by the Key Delta. This will help with knowing the fretboard and make you think.

These are just a few of them. This amp was created by a bass player and thought during the creation process "what whould a bass player need out of a 'DEC' amp and I think he nailed just that.

I am amazed that the B-Dec 30 does so much, but it seems very few people have heard of it or use it. I took mine with me to use as a monitor during a rehearsal when our drummer called to say he couldn't make it. I quickly dialed up a beat appropriate for the song we were rehearsing and used it to help set the time. That's when I realized the benefit of having so many different genres of music loops programed in the B-Dec: not only could I learn different styles of music, but the B-Dec could fill in for other instruments.

I hope more people will post their experiences with the B-Dec or try it out. It really it is an extraordinary instrument. Don't believe me? What other Amp can store 62 MIDI Songs?
