My G-DEC 3 Fifteen was a disappointment due to frustration with the buggy FUSE software that was never corrected (still unremediated, as of last night) and I wound up putting it away in the closet.

This week, I took it out and decided to give it another try and the first thing I noticed was that the so-called "soft" knobs -- which were actually a nice soft rubber -- were now hardened with age (after only a couple of years, even after little use and stored in ideal conditions) and tend to stick.

Anyone have any solutions for this materials fail? I didn't want to hose it with ArmorAll or something and risk isolating interior contact surfaces without asking first.

Thanks for any help!

Hi Bezmotivnik,

We are sorry to hear that you are having some trouble with the "soft keys" on your amp. This is not an issue that we are aware of. however, we would suggest that you gather your original sales receipt and get the amp to an authorized service center (see link below). If you are not the original owner or did not purchase the amp from an authorized Fender® dealer, you may still want to get it into an authorized service center so that they can evaluate the unit and provide you with information about the repair needed.

Please let us know if we can assist further from this end.

Best Regards,

Alan
