I have had a very bad day as power went out and the only casualties were my beloved G-DECs at the same time, UNBELIEVABLE, so I'm scrambling to get them working as I teach with them which is what I was doing as it happened. Tried reflashing but still only blue screen of DEATH!!
Otherwise I'll be forced to bring them in for repairs, not cool!!
Any info or help would be appreciated, thx

Hi Shazzam,

The possible power surge would be an unusual situation. However, in most cases, when you are seeing the display on the fender® G-DEC® 3 amps light with no information displayed, it is the display connector that has come loose.

We recommend that you have a qualified tech take a look. But hopefully, the amp(s) are OK, and will only require a re-connect of the display connector. Please feel free to contact us if we can assist further from our end.

Best Regards,

Alan
