I need to buy a MIDI interface to use between my older model 330 Yamaha keyboard and my PC running Windows XP to use Band-In-A-Box. I tried the M-Audio Midi-Sport, but there is an interface problem. More importantly, I need the MIDI interface to work with my PC and GDEC 30 to download software updates and MIDI files, etc. from the net. Is there a list of compatible devices out there? Thanks!

The Motu Fastlane is what I have and it works great. It has two inputs and outputs so you can hookup both your G-DEC and Keyboard. It also has a bypass switch though I've never really used it. They're about $70.00 new but you can find deals on used ones on the Bay. The one I have is one I used on a project nine years ago. It is fully supported with the current drivers on their site. As old as it is I've had no compatability issues.
