I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered before, but I ran a search and could not find what I was looking for.

I accidentally saved a preset over one that I really liked and would like to retrieve it. I have the standard black G-DEC 3 THIRTY and it was factory preset #81 by Greg Koch.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

You could restore your G-DEC to the original content by following the instructions given here:

http://www.fender.com/support/articles/g-dec-3-original-and-special-edition-content-download-and-installation/

There is a lot more information concerning the G-DEC in the link below:

Thanks Jerry, but for some reason Fender Fuse is incompatible with my PC that is running an early version of Windows 7 and IE 9. I can't figure out how to fix this incompatibility problem since I am not real computer tech saavy.

When I try to run Fender Fuse I get this message.

Line: 46
Char: 17
Error: "Silverlight is undefined"
Code: 0
URL: file:///C:/Users/Steve/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Silverlight/OutOfBrowser/2628856121.fuse.fender.com/index.html

I have absolutely no idea what any of that means.

If your G-DEC 30 is one of the early models without the SD card slot, I guess you would have to use Fuse to make any changes. I don't use Fuse that often, but it does work on my Windows XP operating system

Only thing I can suggest is read a lot of those support articles to see what you can do to remedy your problem. If Fuse is not working properly on your computer, check to see that you have the latest version of Fuse and if not, install the latest version.

My G-DEC does have the SD card slot, and I do have the latest version of Fuse.

Didn't notice that you edited your previous post with the error message about Silverlight. I have no idea what the error message means either.

Usually, when I have a problem with software, I just re-install it and most of the time it fixes problems. Suggest you do a google search for Microsoft Silverlight and download and install the latest version.

If you just want to re-install the original presets to your G-DEC, you don't even need to use Fuse. Just read this article in Fender Support:

http://www.fender.com/support/articles/g-dec-3-original-and-special-edition-content-download-and-installation/

It walks you through how to install any of the four presets packages onto your G-DEC.

First you need to download the "G-DEC 3 Factory Content" to make your SD Card.

I've tried the uninstall, reinstall to no avail. I also only want the one preset. I have made many of my own presets that I would lose if I just went back to day one.

Yes, re-installing the original content on your G-DEC would erase any of your presets that you modified.

Seem like the only way to fix your problem is getting Fuse to work properly so you could back-up your current presets, re-load the original content and go back to your Fuse back-up and individually re-load your modified presents. Of course, you would have to have a list of the presets you modified.

You might try contacting Fender Technology Support Lab:
