an individual SD card for each of the "styles" available ? I don't want to load them into the GDEC itself, but have the "FUSE" software "read" the files from the computer (through FUSE) from the SD card installed in the SD card slot on this laptop (with the un-zipped files on the SD card, all other files being erased ?).
Am I making myself clear ?

If so, if I get an SD card with enough memory, can all 3 of the available zip files be unzipped on to that 1 SD card, so the MP3 files from all the 3 styles can be "read" (and played as the "Band") by FUSE?

Hi crust, if I understand you correctly, yes, you can can put ANY amount of band tracks on an SD card--the only limit is the space on the card and what size card the G-DEC can handle. (And for that info, we turn to Alan Willey from Fender: "..although we do not officially support SD cards beyond 8GB [class 2 and 4], 16GB cards should be usable")

Just remember, the presets are the "priority". In other words, you can have a preset with no band track, but you CANNOT have a band track with no preset.

What that means is for each and every preset's band track you wish to change, you have to select a new band track. (You can save your change to make it permanent, or not, that's your choice)

Hope that helps, but if I have misunderstood your question, let me know!

Good luck!

--Jeff (coincidentally, I have plugged in new band tracks for all 99 presets on my G-DEC 3 Thirty.)(As well as mess with the presets themselves)

Hi crust,

We will be happy to assist. Unfortunately there is no way to "mix and match" the three FSR zip files for the Fender® G-DEC®3 amplifier, onto one SD card. These zip files are created with the intention of converting your Fender® G-DEC®3 to contain either the Metal, Country or Blues FSR content. All the Presets and Band Tracks for the G-DEC3 FSR content is available though our Fender® Fuse™ Community page. Please let us know if this helps and if we can assist further.

Best Regards,

Make a big SD card with "everything" on it, not 3 separate ones. I'd buy that. Where's the
"Great American Song Book" ? I'd buy that too. Just a thought. i do enjoy playing and using Fender products. Always good stuff.

Hi crust1,

Thanks for your feedback and suggestion. The concept here is that each data set, Country, Blues and Metal, etc. contain a complete package that loads to the amp's internal hard drive. Each set is a complete 100 Presets and a full set of Band Tracks. So, it would not be possible to do.

However, as we mentioned in the previous post, the Band Tracks from these data sets are available on the Fender® G-DEC® 3 support page on the Fender FUSE™ Community web site. Please see the link below. And let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,

https://fuse.fender.com/gdec3

Thanks for your reply and a detailed explanation. Yes, I do have those 3 files and use them, very nice. And, thanks Fender for making great, fun to play amps, as well as guitars. :D
