I cant seem to get the m-audio uno 1x1 to work with the G-DEC30? It has the drivers for Vista loaded....the light is green, the G-DEC30 loader softer go to transfer the .MID file and the transmitter light blinks green, but no file is transfered.

Does this even support Vista?

Thanks in advance

Postal,
We have used the 1x1 with Vista to load songs and it does work. One question I have is regarding the LED's on the 1x1. There are three LED's on the 1x1 and one of those is always on when the device is plugged in to indicate power. Do the other two LED's turn on when transferring a file?
Also, on the right side of the Songloader utility do you see the 1x1 listed as your MIDI input and output devices? If not you will need to go into the options menu to select that device. In the advanced options you will also see a checkbox for "Enable Blind Transfer" and if that box is unchecked the amp needs both the MIDI in and out connected. If that box is checked you only need the MIDI IN connected.

The transmit light runs when transfering a song, the RX light is never on. This only happens when using blind transfer. When Bland transfer is turned off, songloader freezes up and doesn't transfer anything. It also makes a Dump file on my desktop. Also, yes the MIDI device is picked in both spots on the right.

Strange...
Do you know if you are using the generic USB MIDI class driver or did you install the newest driver from M-Audio's website? I highly recommend using their newest driver because some users have reported issues using the generic windows driver. Hope that helps,

Postal,
Did you get the update to work? If not I would try and download the driver from M-Audio just to make sure. Vista will detect the device as a generic USB MIDI device if the M-Audio driver is not installed and the update doesn't work well with that generic windows driver.
