A quick question on the Amp Models in the G-Dec 3 amplifiers. It seems pretty clear what the Tweed and Blackface amp types are based on (!) and that the Brit Blues and Brit Steel are modelled on Marshall amps of varying vintages, but is there a list out there of exactly which real-life amps the models relate to? Which Marshall exact amps are they emulating?

I imagine that the Brit Jangle is some kind of Vox, but what type of amp are the Garage Rock, Garage Punk and VeryDistorted models based on? I have no idea. A full list, or individual suggestions would be really helpful for me!

Thanks,

Tony

Hi Tony,

Thanks for your inquiry. While we don't publish a list of the specific amp types, hopefully the "type" or "style" of each model is self evident in terms of the tone and controls. Please let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,

well i did some test with presets on the G-DEC and some from the Fuse website
1 the Cat scratch F is only the Cat Scratch Fury preset.
AMP: tweed clean
Gain: 9, vol: 9, treb: 7.5, mid: 6.5, bass: 7.5
advanced am: tone stack is pre
comp = off timbre = full body ore stack, noisegate = off

stompbox= overdrive
level: one o clock, gain: twelve o clock, low: two o clock, mid: one o clock, high: two o clock

reverb 65 fenderspring
level: 3.5 decay: 4, dwell: 6, Diff: 4, tone: 4.5

the preset 'Cool Jim'
just put in advanced amp the tonestack from post to pre and you will hear the distortion , but not so bad as in the preset above, in full stack, bass boost, super bright .
with stompbox overdrive in standaard setting it gets worse

presets: Filter Main and Fat boy
put advanced amp tone stack from post to pre and get heavy distorted headphone sound

i hope this helps.
