I cannot find the main screen that is supposed to come up in Fender fuse that contains the main menu / utilities / update firmware. Am I in the wrong version?

Hi and welcome!
I'm not sure how to answer (but that won't keep me from barging ahead :) )
A few questions:
1. What do you see when you launch Fuse?
2. What version of Fuse are you using?
3. What version of firmware is your G Dec 3 running?
4. Is your amp connected to the computer?

cheers,
Alex

Hi rpelto01,

We will be happy to assist. Please describe in as much detail, the issue you are seeing when you try to launch the Fender FUSE software. Once we have more information, we can assist further. Thanks.

If using XP, make sure IE is up to date and you download all the service packs, and get silverlight up to the latest too.

I had what seemed a similar problem on a older box I formatted to us and since I use FF or chrome mostly had forgotten to update IE - this caused a hang and eventual end task on the fuse/silverlight processes.

After updating to the latest IE and SL, no problems...
ecxcept the low audio input via usb :-(
